• A valid, government-issued picture ID (such as a Driver’s License, State ID or Passport) is required for fingerprinting.
• School Districts initiate the process for human resource purposes (hiring process).
• Individuals seeking substitute teaching credentials initiate the process by contacting the ROE.
• Those interested in obtaining a substitute license are required to have a photo id (driver's license), a social security card, and pay the $75 background check fee (by check, cash or cashier's check).
• Student teachers - the college initiates the process.
